Location - Vassiliki is a small fishing village on the south side of the island. Its pretty harbour is an ideal place to slow down and enjoy the leisurely Greek pace of life in one of the many tavernas, cafes and bars along the waterfront.

Lefkas is an island relatively unspoilt by the ravages of modern day tourism and boasts award winning beaches such as Porto Katsiki and Egremni on its rugged western shores. The island has a plentiful supply of water and even in the height of summer the landscape remains abundantly green and beautiful.

Accommodation - Our accommodations are in two small and intimate family run hotels a few yards from the beach and sailing centre. The rooms are simple but comfortable and set in beautiful landscaped gardens with swimming pool.

We do not include food in your holiday price - we prefer to offer our clients the choice of eating wherever they choose rather than remain on site - though meals drinks and snacks are offered at our 2 beach bars and restaurants throughout the day and evenings.

Equipment - waiting for you on the beach is a huge fleet of catamarans, skiffs and dinghies including a range of Hobie cats from the RYA recognised Youth training boat, the Dragoon, to the most popular of the F18 racing classes the Hobie Tiger. Your choice of dinghies ranges from the simple (Laser Pico, RS Tera) to the Olympic 49er and Laser's award winning sport keelboat - the SB3.

Special Training Weeks - if you really want to get a head start on your fellow club racers why not join in one of our specialist training weeks at the beginning of the season - joining the likes of Chris Gowers, Gold medallist Paul Goodison's coach for some exceptional tuition and tips.

The Sailing Centre - is open from 10.30 until about 7 pm. Our weather conditions are perfect for almost everybody - the morning's light winds are perfect for teaching beginners and improving technique while the afternoon cross shore winds, generally from Force 4-6 provide challenging conditions for even the most experienced of sailors.

Instruction - We are an RYA recognised school and as well as this guaranteeing superb safety standards we offer a massive variety of RYA courses at no extra charge. Our instructors are second to none with a wealth of experience behind them and with a few having National or International titles behind them. (One of our instructors even went on to win a silver medal in the Olympics!) - Our instructor to client ratio is never more than 1 in 4.

Windsurfing - We are fortunate enough to enjoy a close relationship with Club Vassiliki, possibly the worls No 1 windsurfing centre, right next door to us on the beach. Our 'Free As The Wind' option allows you the freedom of all of their vast range of state of the art equipment and instruction.

Other Activities - We have a selection of mountain bikes available for our guests during the week and offer a number of guided rides through the week. Other activities include snorkelling, kayaking, aqua safaris, boat trips and site-seeing.
